The Fine Print for ASA 101, 102, 103, and 104 Classes:

* Bundled courses are five (5) day minimum classes. These are demanding classes, and students should prepare accordingly. A student may elect to take the ASA 102 certification test after the fifth day. Alternatively, students may arrange with The Institute in advance to stay an additional day (for a total of six days). Contact us for details.

  • With sufficient experience, students taking the ASA 103 course for certification may challenge ASA 101 for an additional $379 to cover the cost of books, ASA testing, and the American Sailing membership fee. Students seeking to challenge ASA 101 will be asked to submit a description of their experience in advance for approval by The Gratitude Sailing Institute staff.
  • Custom classes are available for groups of two to four students.
